 Trauma-Informed Advocacy & Coaching Services

Cheri Shandra has completed nationally recognized training in victim advocacy, trauma-informed coaching, and integrative wellness practices, with a deep understanding of how trauma impacts the nervous system. She has completed professional training through the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA), systems-level advocacy education via the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC TTAC), and holds professional affiliation with the National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC).

With over a decade of lived and professional experience navigating the intersections of family court, coercive control, and systemic trauma, Cheri’s advocacy is grounded in national standards and evidence-based, survivor-centered practices. She is currently under credential review with the National Advocate Credentialing Program (NACP), and her work has been recognized by California legislators and national platforms including the National Domestic Violence Hotline, where she serves as a Storyteller Collective Speaker.

Cheri is committed to ongoing professional development, regularly engaging with emerging trauma research and national advocacy coalitions such as the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), ensuring her work remains relevant, responsive, and aligned with best practices.

In addition to her advocacy work, Cheri has completed formal training in holistic wellness and nutritional practices through nationally and internationally recognized organizations. Her integrative services support stress reduction, trauma recovery, hormonal balance, and nervous system regulation. A full list of training programs and affiliations can be viewed
